Founded in 1974<\/strong> by Nikos and George Xydis brothers<\/strong>, Lydia is the first company operating in the field of pet care in Greece and is considered since its establishment as a market pioneer.
\nToday, Lydia is managed by the next generation, Myrto and Achilles Xydis<\/strong>, leading the company to its next steps. In its 48-year history, Lydia Ltd. has been the exclusive distributor of many well-known brands establishing them in the Greek market<\/strong>. It currently represents more than 35 brands in Greece and Cyprus<\/strong>, covering 90% of the needs of a pet shop.
\nLydia\u2019s main success factor is its extensive sales and distribution network that currently has presence in 85% of the stores of the pet channel in the country and is a leading player in the market<\/strong> with one of the highest shares in the field of premium and super premium products. In addition, Lydia is active in the vet channel providing veterinary and other health care products, through sub-distribution partnerships and direct sales. Furthermore, the company has also an extensive sales network servicing animal clinics, pet groomers, breeders, research centers and animal parks.
\nTowards the first half of the century, Lydia follows a plan to further continue its development and success of recent years<\/strong>. Strengthening its team with the addition of experienced executives, Lydia\u2019s goal is to further improve its commercial operation and presence in the market.
\nIt dynamically supports its partners with products, solutions and tools for their business, creating long-term relationships of trust.
